Job Title:

• Housekeeping Assistant

Reports to:

• Head Housekeeper

Job Overview: (Note - In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required)

• To provide cleaning services within the service in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices

Location:

• Orchard House Care Home, Grosvenor Road, Mablethorpe, LN12 1EL

Working Hours:

• 24 hours per week over a 4-day period, as agreed with the manager.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

Role-specific Duties:

The Housekeeper responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• To carry out daily housekeeping services.
• To clean residents rooms to a high standard
• To ensure that all areas are always clean and tidy to the Homes standards.
• To undertake laundry and pressing if required.
• Ensure that the daily work is completed to the set hygiene standards
• Attend initial and update mandatory training as required.

Working with Others:

• Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within the service
• Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance programme
• Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees

Personal and Professional Development:

• Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
• Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
• To maintain housekeeping skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required in order to maintain that currency of practice

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
