Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at our brand-new serviced apartments in Dundee city centre.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our apartments are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard for every guest. You will take pride in your work and help create a welcoming experience for both short- and long-stay guests.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently, has a good eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare serviced apartments to a consistently high standard.
• Change bed linen, towels and other guest supplies.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise all relevant areas.
• Check apartments for cleanliness, presentation and maintenance issues.
• Restock toiletries, cleaning products and guest amenities.
• Ensure apartments are ready for guest arrival within required turnaround times.
• Report any maintenance, damage or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Follow all company cleaning, health and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping cupboards and equipment in a clean and organised condition.
• Assist with laundry and linen duties when required.
• Work as part of a small team while also being comfortable working independently.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to guests when required.

• Previous housekeeping, hotel or serviced-apartment experience is desirable but full training will be provided.

Pay: £12.71-£23.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
