Housekeeping Assistant Manager

We are seeking a professional and organized Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this supervisory role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff performance, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional facility standards. Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards Schedule staff shifts and manage workforce allocation to optimize operational efficiency Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to verify compliance with housekeeping protocols Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement Address guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services with professionalism and promptness Implement and enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures across all housekeeping operations Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance issues for management review Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects and facility maintenance needs Maintain detailed records of staff performance, training activities, and operational metrics Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping operations or facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity Proven expertise in housekeeping standards, cleaning protocols, and sanitation procedures Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Excellent organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in staff scheduling and workforce coordination Knowledge of inventory management and supply ordering processes Familiarity with housekeeping management software and basic computer skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations Experience in the hospitality industry or hotel management preferred Knowledge of UAE hospitality standards and practices preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach
