Housekeeping Assistant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of cleaning protocols, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. This role is vital in ensuring that our environment remains safe, hygienic, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. The Housekeeping Manager will coordinate daily activities, supervise cleaning staff, and uphold high standards of cleanliness across all areas.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with industry best practices
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance
• Collaborate with other departments to address special cleaning requests or projects
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, staff schedules, and inventory management
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the housekeeping department

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning services, janitorial work, industrial cleaning, or custodial roles with a focus on management or supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and hotel or hospitality industry standards.Hilton experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management within hotel or similar environments is highly preferred
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to develop training programs for staff development
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with staff and other departments
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.36 - $23.73 per hour
