Job Description

As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Our property offers a variety of accommodation types, including standard guest rooms and spacious suites, providing a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

The Housekeeper’s key responsibilities will include:

• Clean and service guest accommodations
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest amenities
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and living spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces
• Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Wash & fold linens and maintain organization / efficiency of the laundry room
• Clean / maintain public areas & amenities
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly
• Work efficiently while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members across departments to meet daily room and cleanliness targets

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and consistency
• Ability to perform very physical work (standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, repetitive tasks)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset (training provided)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be willing to relocate to The Sunshine Coast of BC
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
