Job Overview

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of Hotel rooms , including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a safe and spotless environment.
• Conduct laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Handle manual lifting and outdoor work as needed for tasks such as moving furniture or outdoor cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine.
• Use proper cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Support housekeeping management by following established procedures and assisting with inventory of cleaning supplies.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, and outdoor areas.
• Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including the use of appropriate detergents and disinfectants.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, buffers, and laundry machines.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Knowledge of dusting techniques, surface cleaning methods, and floor care practices to ensure thorough cleanliness.
• Experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
