We are currently looking for multiple Housekeeping Attendants to join us on a casual basis. While these positions are initially casual, there may be opportunities to move into permanent employment as they become available.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our rooms and suites are always fresh, immaculate and welcoming. Your dedication will help create a haven where our guests can escape, relax and recharge after a busy day.

• Guest Experience – Prepare guest rooms and suites to impeccable standards, ensuring every stay feels special and memorable.
• Presentation – Bring our rooms, corridors and public areas to life through detailed cleaning and presentation to the highest luxury standards.
• Efficiency – Refresh and restock amenities, linen and supplies thoughtfully and efficiently while minimising waste.
• Responsiveness – Assist guests with warmth, efficiency and care, responding promptly to any requests or additional needs.
• Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to deliver seamless service across housekeeping functions, supporting Room Attendant, Public Area and House Person duties as rostered.
• Compliance – Uphold the IHG Way of Clean promise, maintaining brand standards and following all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Flexibility – Adapt to changing priorities, demonstrate initiative, and support the team across varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Continuous Improvement – Participate in training and development opportunities, contributing ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What we need from you

• Eligibility – Hold valid New Zealand working rights to be employed with us.
• Experience – Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Attention to Detail – Take pride in delivering work to the highest standards, noticing the small touches that make a big difference.
• Attitude – Bring a positive, can-do approach and genuine enthusiasm for creating a clean and welcoming environment.
• Teamwork – Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Housekeeping and wider Rooms Division team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Independence – Demonstrate reliability and initiative to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Time Management – Manage priorities effectively to deliver timely and high-quality results during each shift.
• Flexibility – Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
