Housekeeping Attendant

Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, tidiness of all public areas of the property to ensure a clean, safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for guests and employee

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobby, corridors, public restrooms, stairways, elevators, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces according to housekeeping standards.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and other fixtures.
• Ensure public areas are always clean, tidy, and free from litter.
• Refill toiletries, tissue, soap, and other amenities in public areas when required.
• Empty and clean waste bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness around entrances, walkways, and other designated outdoor areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to company procedures.
• Maintain proper stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist the Housekeeping team with other cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
