Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential units, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and manual handling techniques.
• Manage laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and outdoor work as needed to uphold exterior appearance standards.
• Communicate professionally with residents or clients regarding their specific cleaning needs or requests.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper manual handling practices ensures safe and effective work.
• Customer service skills are essential for interacting positively with residents or clients during service delivery.
• Experience with outdoor work environments or residential housekeeping enhances versatility in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is important for success in this position.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
