Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, waxing, or carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces
• Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock levels are low or replenishment is needed

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning background highly desirable
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
• Experience in laundry operations within hospitality or residential settings is advantageous
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and products is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Prior housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
