Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely while maintaining the upkeep of tools for optimal performance.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service during residential visits.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on housekeeper responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within designated timeframes.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and outdoor work experience when required for outdoor or yard areas.
• Effective client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests confidently.
