We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team and help us maintain the exceptional standards that make Eichardt’s so special.

The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring our beautiful rooms, suites and guest areas are always presented to the highest standard.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning, servicing and beautifully presenting guest rooms, suites and public areas to our five-star standards.
• Preparing rooms for guest arrivals, ensuring every detail is carefully attended to.
• Replenishing guest amenities, linen and supplies to ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests while maintaining discretion and respecting guest privacy.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, damages or anything requiring attention.
• Working closely with the Housekeeping, Guest Services and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Completing daily cleaning checklists and following established health, safety and hygiene procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and genuine pride in their work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably within a five-star property or alternatively an NZ registered level 4 qualification.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A positive, reliable and professional approach to your work.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• The flexibility to work a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Important Requirements:

• Applicants MUST currently reside in Queenstown and be available to attend an in-person interview.
• Applicants must have current legal working rights in New Zealand.
• This position does not offer Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) sponsorship.
