Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
• Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure proper organization of cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist in special projects or deep cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
