Job Purpose
Maintain clean, tidy, and hygienic rooms and public areas while providing courteous service and respecting guests’ privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to the required standards.
• Make beds, change linen, and replace towels and guest amenities.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and empty bins.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and keep housekeeping trolleys and storage areas organized.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards promptly.
• Follow procedures for lost property and secure handling of guests’ belongings.
• Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follow hygiene procedures.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks and update the supervisor on room readiness.
• Respect guest privacy and follow security and access procedures.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good attention to detail, reliability, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties safely.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
