Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, hotels, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation of all surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Manage janitorial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleans or move-in/move-out procedures.
• Conduct outdoor work as needed for patio or exterior area cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistent quality standards are met across all assigned areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy objects or moving furniture.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, guests, or clients.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures and custodial practices for maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus.
