Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and hygienic environments.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and using carpet cleaning techniques as needed to preserve flooring quality.
• Use janitorial equipment responsibly for tasks like window cleaning, outdoor work, and detailed surface cleaning.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety standards related to manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas if applicable.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects safely, and working in various environments.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
