Housekeeping Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care
• Maintain floors through proper care techniques like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and buffing to preserve their appearance and longevity
• Use janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during visits
• Assist with kitchen-related tasks such as basic cooking or food preparation when required
• Support custodial management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and janitorial procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Experience with laundry operations and basic cooking skills are a plus
• Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
• Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
