About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall aesthetic appeal of our facilities. As a Housekeeping team member, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests and visitors, directly contributing to their satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with established protocols and health standards
• Changing bed linens, replenishing towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces throughout assigned areas
• Inspecting rooms and facilities for damage, maintenance issues, or supplies that need replenishment, reporting findings to management
• Disposing of waste and managing recycling materials appropriately
• Operating cleaning equipment and handling chemical cleaning products safely and responsibly
• Responding promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements
• Maintaining accurate records of room status and daily cleaning activities
• Collaborating with fellow housekeeping team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards consistently
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy items
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
• Familiarity with health and safety standards in hospitality settings
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
• Basic proficiency in English or Filipino language skills for effective communication
