Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
• Maintain outdoor work areas by sweeping walkways, cleaning patios, or other exterior surfaces as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Keep detailed records of completed work and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on housecleaning or housekeeping management preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and expectations.
• Experience working outdoors or in outdoor environments is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client locations.
• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and manual work required for residential housekeeping duties.
