Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while providing friendly and professional service to our guests.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and other guest-room supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, floors, and other room surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and assigned areas.
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste.
• Restock guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing or damaged items.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and guest-room issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and other assigned spaces as needed.
• Follow all hotel cleanliness, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Handle guest requests and questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Protect guest privacy and respect guests' belongings.
• Assist with lost-and-found procedures according to hotel policy.
• Work cooperatively with the front desk, maintenance, and other hotel departments.
• Complete assigned rooms and tasks within established timeframes.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
