Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Use manual handling skills to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning to uphold overall property appearance.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while managing time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning roles, with knowledge of custodial practices and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, equipment, and surface types to ensure effective cleaning without damage.
• Strong manual handling skills including heavy lifting and outdoor work experience.
• Ability to perform detailed dusting, surface cleaning, floor maintenance, and carpet cleaning with precision.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences or special requests.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures for different surfaces and environments along with safety protocols related to janitorial work.
