About the role

Maintain clean, sanitary, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms and common areas. Prepare rooms for occupancy, replenish supplies, and support a positive guest experience while respecting guest privacy and property.

Key responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards and schedules.
• Make beds, replace linen and towels, and replenish toiletries and other approved room supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces using the correct products and methods.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning and report room readiness to the supervisor or Reception.
• Collect, segregate, count, and coordinate the laundering of soiled linen; store clean linen properly.
• Monitor linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment and report shortages or damage.
• Report maintenance defects, stains, pest concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly.
• Follow room-entry procedures, key-control rules, and guest privacy requirements.
• Record and surrender found items through the hotel's lost-and-found procedure.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and refer complaints or matters outside the role to the supervisor.

About you

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, accommodation, or professional cleaning experience is an advantage.
• TESDA Housekeeping NC II or equivalent training is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, hygiene practices, and safe chemical handling preferred.
• Reliable, attentive to detail, courteous, and able to follow cleaning standards and instructions.
• Able to perform the essential physical duties safely, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Willing to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.
