Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest or resident needs promptly and courteously.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Skills

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Basic cooking skills may be beneficial for positions that require meal preparation alongside cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
