Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or hotel environments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-kept. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining various areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as required, ensuring they are clean and fresh for use.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs to the management team.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with light cooking or meal preparation when necessary to support household needs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
