Housekeeping/ Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping and Cook professional to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for moving furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, and cooking ingredients for easy access and safety.
• Communicate effectively with residents or clients regarding their needs or special requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden cleaning to uphold overall property appearance.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while accommodating additional requests or special events.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly, including kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, and appliances for optimal hygiene standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
• Hands-on experience with various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and mops.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, laundry processes, and the use of cleaning detergents.
• Previous cooking experience demonstrating the ability to prepare nutritious meals while adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Familiarity with outdoor work environments related to property upkeep is preferred.
• Strong client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a residential setting.
• Experience managing housekeeping tasks independently or within a team environment with excellent time management skills.
• Physical ability for manual handling tasks including lifting heavy items safely and standing for extended periods is essential.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
