Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is the not-for-profit organization that manages the spectacular Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by the City of Fort Worth, the state-of-the-art arena opened in November 2019 and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time housekeeping team member. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the arena by performing various cleaning duties, preparing the seating, concourse, restrooms, and offices of the arena for various events.

Essential Job Functions:

• Routine daily cleanliness of arena offices and event spaces, including, but not limited to, pulling/disposing of trash, vacuuming, and dusting in all offices and office common areas

• Use of cleaning equipment, machines, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal

• Work on special cleaning projects, as assigned

• Actively care for all stadium equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property

• Maintain Central Custodial and stock supplies throughout the building as needed

• Respond and resolve cleaning issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management

• General knowledge and use of cleaning equipment and supplies, cleaning chemicals and agents, and cleaning safety measures

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in a janitorial/custodial position in public assembly facilities
• Any experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry is a plus
• Must have a state of Texas motor vehicle license
• Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to typical methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility equipment, and proper use and care of equipment
• Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive, and expedient manner and be able to adhere to strict deadlines
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

• Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
• Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
• Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
• Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
