Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

• Directs guides and controls Room Attendant to ensure all guest bedrooms, bathrooms and hotel-floor corridors are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Supervises trains & retrains existing and new staff using the same method to ensure that established cleaning standards are met.
• Attends and represents his staff at Housekeeping meetings, maintaining effective communication within the Department.
• Ensures all staff assigned to him/her, starts on time, clean in clean and orderly uniforms, shoes and name badges, understand that they represent the Hotel.
• Sees that assigned hours of work are maintained and meal times schedules properly, reporting any misconduct immediately.
• Ensures Room attendant are following room cleaning priorities strictly.
• Ensures VIP rooms are correctly supplied, checked and touch up, update on time for inspection.
• Collects and returns master key for himself and the Room Attendants according to established procedures.
• Inspects each room on his assigned floor, whether Vacant, Occupied, Check Out or Out of Order, out of Service as well as corridors, service areas, pantries and Emergency staircase.
• Attends to guest requests and complaints and follows up on loan items to guests, using correct procedures.
