Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met consistently.
• Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Identify areas needing improvement or repair and coordinate with maintenance teams to address issues promptly.
• Monitor cleaning procedures, including janitorial tasks, laundry operations, and custodial activities, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Document inspection results, compile reports on cleanliness standards, and communicate findings to management for continuous enhancement.
• Enforce safety policies and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in developing schedules, assigning tasks, and managing workflow to optimize productivity across housekeeping teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices.
• Supervising or management experience within hospitality or janitorial settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and custodial procedures relevant to hotel or hospitality environments.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for conducting inspections and maintaining records.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
