Job Title: Housekeeping Intern

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Intern will support the Housekeeping Department in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. This internship provides practical exposure to housekeeping operations and offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills in hospitality and guest service. Under the guidance of experienced team members, the intern will gain valuable industry knowledge and real-world experience in a professional hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning, arranging, and preparing guest rooms to meet hotel quality standards, including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing guest amenities.
• Support the cleanliness and upkeep of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Help monitor, organize, and restock housekeeping supplies and inventory as needed.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests by responding to requests and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Adhere to all hotel safety, sanitation, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with housekeeping team members and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Must be able to provide a school-issued Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and willing to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, when required.
