Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that adhere to industry standards for hygiene and safety regulations.
• Oversee industrial cleaning tasks, including deep cleans and specialized sanitation projects, ensuring thoroughness and compliance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry services, and custodial equipment to maintain operational readiness.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations to foster a professional and motivated team.
• Monitor quality control by conducting regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping management with a strong background in sanitation practices.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills that motivate staff and foster teamwork.
• Knowledge of cleaning & sanitation management, safety regulations, and industrial cleaning procedures.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks, provide feedback, and resolve issues swiftly.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Experience in laundry operations within hospitality or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
• A background in hotel or hospitality environments that emphasizes customer service excellence and operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
