Our New Residence Inn by Marriott in Tinley Park Illinois is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all cleaning, sanitation, and custodial operations within our hospitality or commercial environment. This pivotal role involves managing a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will drive team performance, implement sanitation protocols, and uphold safety regulations to create a welcoming and hygienic space for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning and sanitation services across all areas
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee industrial cleaning processes for large-scale or specialized cleaning tasks, ensuring efficiency and thoroughness
• Manage janitorial operations including laundry services, waste disposal, and general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness standards
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and sanitation management to promote a safe working environment
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health standards
• Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities seamlessly

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and industrial or commercial cleaning procedures
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective managerial communication skills to provide clear instructions, feedback, and training
• Experience in managing janitorial services including laundry operations within a hospitality or commercial setting
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance standards
• Familiarity with management tools for scheduling, reporting, and maintaining cleanliness records

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
