Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. Previous experience with Marriott properties is required, along with strong managerial skills to lead and supervise staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Supervise staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and hotel management to coordinate activities and address any issues promptly.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards aligned with brand expectations, particularly Marriott standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock management.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints related to housekeeping services professionally and efficiently.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimize coverage while maintaining fair workload distribution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry; Marriott experience is essential.
• Strong team management and staff supervision skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to lead a team with a focus on quality service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
