Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire our Housekeeping team, ensuring our guest rooms and public spaces consistently reflect the impeccable standards synonymous with The Ritz-Carlton.

Reporting to the Executive Head Housekeeper, you will play a key leadership role within the department, overseeing daily operations, developing and motivating our Ladies and Gentlemen, and driving a culture of excellence, accountability and genuine care. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on luxury hospitality leader who takes pride in creating memorable experiences through exceptional presentation and service.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality experience.
• Experience managing large housekeeping teams.
• Proven track record of achieving quality and guest satisfaction targets.
• Experience with recruitment, training, and succession planning.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing budgets and departmental costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day Housekeeping operation, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet The Ritz-Carlton’s luxury standards.
• Support the Executive Head Housekeeper in driving departmental performance, service excellence and operational priorities.
• Lead, coach and develop the Housekeeping team, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability and genuine care.
• Oversee room readiness, inspections and daily task allocation to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering and other departments to address guest and operational needs.
• Monitor guest feedback and service opportunities promptly, empowering the team to deliver thoughtful and personalised solutions.
• Manage staffing, productivity, payroll and departmental expenses in line with business requirements and budget.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linen, amenities, uniforms and operating supplies.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, hotel procedures, workplace health and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve service, productivity and operational efficiency.
