Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all cleaning and sanitation operations within our hospitality or commercial facility. This energetic leader will ensure that all spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a key member of our management team, you will motivate and supervise staff, implement effective cleaning protocols, and uphold safety regulations to create a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests, clients, and staff alike.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient team management and high-quality service delivery
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and sanitation procedures aligned with industry standards and safety regulations
• Oversee industrial cleaning processes, including heavy-duty sanitation tasks in commercial or hospitality settings
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to sanitation standards
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, use of cleaning equipment, and customer service best practices
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency
• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all team members follow proper procedures to prevent accidents or contamination

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial environments
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team environment
• Effective managerial communication skills for training staff, coordinating tasks, and liaising with other departments
• Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests or clients
• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
