Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across our facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and uphold the highest levels of customer service. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols aligned with industry standards.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health codes, and environmental standards related to industrial and commercial cleaning.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing usage and minimizing waste.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent quality control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong focus on sanitation.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading cleaning teams or janitorial staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, safety regulations, and sanitation management practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address client needs promptly and professionally.
• Familiarity with laundry operations and janitorial equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping operations.
