Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custodial services, hospitality, and industrial cleaning, particularly within the hotel industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
• Address guest complaints and concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and incident reports.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
