Housekeeping – PT

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas while providing respectful and professional service to all guests. This position supports the Tribe’s commitment to hospitality, cleanliness, and cultural values, helping ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and community members alike.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms

• Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities

• Clean and maintain hallways, public areas, and service areas as assigned

• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly

• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Maintain assigned carts, tools, and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition

• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times

• Comply with all Tribal, enterprise, and hotel policies and procedures

• Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect for Tribal customs, traditions, and sovereignty

• Work cooperatively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction

• All other duties as assigned
