Housekeeping Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, hallways, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for ongoing needs.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all areas.
• Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to protect yourself and others.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with custodial procedures and janitorial equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service or resident satisfaction. Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
