About the role

The Housekeeping Staff ensures environmental cleanliness and infection control compliance within the Chemo Infusion Center, including safe handling of cytotoxic and hazardous waste.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of infusion areas.
• Follow cytotoxic decontamination protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient care and pharmacy areas.
• Segregate hazardous, pharmaceutical, and sharps waste properly.
• Report spills or contamination immediately.
• Wear appropriate PPE during cleaning tasks.
• Participate in hazardous drug safety training.
• Assist in maintaining facility standards.

About you

• High school graduate.
• Experience in healthcare facility preferred.
• Training in infection control practices preferred.
• Knowledgeable in proper waste segregation procedures.
• Able to follow cleaning and disinfection protocols.
• Physically ableto perform cleaning duties.
• Must complete hazardous drug awareness training.
• Must comply with PPE and safety requirements.
