About the Hotel

A newly opening 4-star hotel in Dalhousie is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associates to join our team. If you take pride in maintaining cleanliness and creating a comfortable environment for guests, we invite you to be part of our pre-opening hospitality team.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, well-maintained, and prepared to the highest hospitality standards. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, reliable, and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, balconies, corridors, lobbies, staircases, and other public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost and found articles to the supervisor.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping carts.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
• Follow hotel hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy.
• Respond promptly to guest requests such as extra towels, amenities, or room cleaning.
• Assist with laundry or linen management when required.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping at a hotel, resort, or hospitality establishment is preferred.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene practices is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Honest, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
