About the Role

Balaji Infrastructure is looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to manage housekeeping operations at Suzlon Energy Ltd.’s Rotary Blade Unit (RBU), Chhadwel Korde. The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, discipline and housekeeping service across the plant while effectively managing housekeeping manpower and shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage housekeeping staff across all shifts.
• Prepare daily duty allocation, shift schedules and manpower deployment.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, shift timings, weekly offs and leave requirements.
• Ensure proper cleaning and housekeeping of production areas, offices, toilets, common areas, pathways and other designated plant areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure cleanliness as per plant standards.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and cleaning machines.
• Monitor consumption and availability of cleaning materials, chemicals, tools, PPE and other housekeeping supplies.
• Train housekeeping employees regarding cleaning procedures, safety, hygiene and proper use of equipment.
• Ensure employees follow plant safety rules and use required PPE.
• Coordinate with Suzlon plant representatives and other departments regarding housekeeping requirements and complaints.
• Immediately address cleanliness-related issues and ensure corrective action.
• Maintain daily housekeeping reports, attendance records, cleaning checklists and other required documentation.
• Monitor employee performance and maintain discipline within the housekeeping team.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and continuity of housekeeping services.
• Support implementation of 5S, workplace cleanliness and good housekeeping practices.
• Report manpower shortages, equipment issues, material requirements and operational concerns to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 12th pass; Diploma/Graduate candidates preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial plant.
• Good manpower handling and team-management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for attendance and reporting.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Disciplined, responsible and physically fit for plant-level supervision.
• Knowledge of industrial housekeeping, hygiene and safety practices will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Approx. ₹15,500/month.
• Approx. CTC: ₹20,000/month.
• PF and ESIC as applicable.
• One-time lunch at the plant during duty.
• Overtime, if applicable, as per company rules and applicable provisions.
• Safety equipment/PPE as required for the job.
• Regular and timely salary payment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
