Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dedicated team at the Swan Garden Resort Hotel in Melaka. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel. This is a full-time position that will involve overseeing a team of housekeeping staff and ensuring the smooth running of all housekeeping operations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of the housekeeping team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and support
• Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel spaces to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment necessary for the housekeeping department
• Responding promptly to any guest requests or concerns related to the cleanliness or condition of their room
• Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and efficient guest experience
• Maintaining accurate records and reports related to housekeeping operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping department

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team

• Proficiency in using housekeeping-related software and tools

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
