Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily housekeeping operations at Regatta, Kozi Square. The role is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently maintained, conducting inspections, managing supplies, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Assign cleaning duties and work schedules to housekeeping staff based on operational requirements.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, corridors, toilets, and other assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company standards.
• Ensure rooms and common areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for occupancy.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance.
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, safety practices, and proper use of equipment.
• Conduct regular room and area inspections and follow up on any deficiencies.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, tools, and cleaning materials.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, toiletries, and amenities and ensure sufficient stock is maintained.
• Prepare or maintain housekeeping checklists, room status reports, cleaning schedules, and other relevant records.

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel, serviced apartment, residence, or similar property.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and hygiene practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and able to supervise and assist with housekeeping duties when required.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
