Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Supervise and maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping operations. Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet hotel standards. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent housekeeping services to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and ensure cleanliness meets hotel standards
• Monitor cleanliness and neatness of housekeeping service areas
• Report maintenance issues, defects, and follow up on repairs
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Supervise Room Attendants and ensure proper grooming, hygiene, and work performance
• Assist with training and coaching of housekeeping staff
• Manage lost and found items according to hotel procedures
• Maintain effective communication within the Housekeeping Department
• Update daily housekeeping records and logbooks
• Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeper or management

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment
• Experience in supervising Room Attendants and housekeeping operations
• Good knowledge of hotel cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle guest requests and complaints professionally
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
