Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks across all areas of the facility.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures meet sanitation standards and safety regulations, including industrial and commercial cleaning protocols.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor staff performance through regular inspections, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and quality.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens to ensure smooth operations without shortages.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Collaborate with management to develop schedules, set goals, and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
• Strong background in cleaning, sanitation management, and janitorial practices, including industrial and commercial cleaning techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication skills necessary for managerial oversight, team supervision, and customer service interactions.
• Experience with laundry operations and hospitality standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols.
• Previous management or team supervision roles that showcase leadership capabilities in fast-paced environments.
