Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and customer service protocols.
• Monitor cleaning processes including industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial tasks, laundry services, and sanitation management to maintain optimal hygiene levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and sanitation standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
• Enforce safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety to protect staff and guests alike.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective management communication, leadership, and motivation strategies.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial environments.
• Strong background in cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and janitorial work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Experience with management of cleaning & sanitation operations in both hospitality settings and large-scale facilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to workplace cleanliness, chemical handling, and equipment use.
• Leadership skills with the ability to train staff, delegate tasks efficiently, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Prior experience in laundry management or hospitality housekeeping is highly desirable.
