Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks, to ensure efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols and safety procedures related to industrial and commercial cleaning.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support smooth operational flow.
• Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy or workload demands while maintaining team productivity.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and recognition of staff achievements.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial services or janitorial work with a strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation management.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills essential for leading diverse housekeeping teams.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning standards, and hospitality industry requirements.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and motivate staff.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address guest or client concerns professionally.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
