Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional service in a hotel or hospitality environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold company standards in cleanliness and service.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Implement best practices for industrial cleaning, floor care, and custodial duties across the facility.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of custodial practices, including industrial cleaning techniques and floor care maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
