Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor / Room Attendant to join our hotel team.

This is a working supervisor position that reports to the Housekeeping Manager. On supervisor days, this position will help organize the housekeeping department, prepare daily room assignments, inspect completed rooms, and assist the team in keeping rooms moving efficiently.

Supervisor shifts will generally be scheduled when the Housekeeping Manager is not working or as additional coverage is needed. On non-supervisor days, this position will work as a Room Attendant and clean guest rooms alongside the housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily housekeeping boards and room assignments.
• Inspect completed guest rooms for cleanliness and quality.
• Communicate room status, priorities, and concerns with housekeeping and the Front Desk.
• Assist and provide direction to housekeeping team members as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items.
• Clean and prepare guest rooms when scheduled as a Room Attendant.
• Help maintain hotel cleanliness and follow established cleaning and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Dependable and comfortable providing direction to team members.
• Able to work efficiently and independently.
• Able to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work alongside the team.

Pay:

• Housekeeping Supervisor shifts: Starting at $16.50 per hour
• Room Attendant shifts: $15.50 per hour
