Housekeeping Supervisor

Shri Sai Hospital, Ambala Cantt. is looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to manage hospital housekeeping operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control practices.

Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Ambala Cantt., Haryana
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Hospital / Healthcare preferred
Shift: As per hospital roster

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate duties to housekeeping staff
• Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, OPD, OT and common areas
• Monitor washroom and high-touch area cleaning
• Ensure proper waste segregation and biomedical waste practices
• Conduct regular facility rounds and identify housekeeping gaps
• Maintain cleaning schedules, checklists and daily records
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, chemicals and equipment
• Ensure staff follow proper uniform, grooming and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with Nursing, Administration and other departments
• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and infection-control practices
• Report deficiencies, complaints and maintenance requirements to management
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs and NABH standards

Candidate Profile

Hospital housekeeping experience preferred
Good supervisory and team-management skills
Strong discipline and communication skills
Knowledge of hospital cleaning & infection-control practices
Ability to manage staff and work under pressure
